Glamour on
the Hudson

Morning under the Chrysler Building; evening on the Hudson. An arch of white orchid and cherry blossom, dinner beneath candlelit trees, craps and roulette by the windows, and a golden gown for the last dances. It ended in a storm of silver streamers.
